My 2 children live with my ex wife. She is preventing any contact with them either on phone, by etter or direct contact. What rights have I as a arent who wants to continue to see his children on a regular basis.

That is a terrible way for a mother to behave towards the father of her children - she will reap the benefits as they grow older. In other words, they will end up being angry with her for preventing you from seeing them
However, you may need to take access through the court system, so I suggest you consult a solicitor and get the ball rolling.
Do you pay maintenance?
Can I ask what her reasons are for preventing contact? To be able to stop contact completely she must have a reason as no solicitor would allow this otherwise. Do the two of you get along? As pink-kittens says you may have to consult a solicitor to see where you go from here.

Just got to http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/HMCSCourtFi nder/FormFinder.do, do a search for Childrens Act, download and complete the forms. Take it to the court with the fee and the case will be listed.

I acted for myself three years ago and got what I wanted
