I have been employed with the same hospital for 17 years. It is not a state requirement that you become a certified tecnician, however our new pharmacy director is trying to implement this by mid summer of next year. If I decide not to take the test and become certified will the Director then have grounds for termination

What's a Pa requirement? Never heard of it.
Sounds American to me...........

This site is primarily for users based in UK. Although someone may be able to give you an answer, it may be better if you find a site dealing more with American issues....
Goal posts being moved by employer - employer at fault! If the worst happens you have good grounds for a tribunal.
