there is a bunch of scrap metal on my grandmothers property. my father says its his my grandmother says its my grandfathers .. hes been dead for 25 yrs who is it leagaly?

It's your grandmother's, unless it was given to your father before your grandfather died.

After 25 years though your grandmother could rightly say your father had abandoned it, and it is your grandmother's.
