parking on the kerb: - is it actually illegal or just a highway code recommendation? I received 4 parking tickets in one evening for parking with 2 wheels on a kerb (No, it was not a motorbike - but a hired van, used for removals!). 2 tickets were let off finally, but i dont believe in being punished twice for the same offence - parking was in 2 locations (collection and drop-off) over the evening. Most annoying is the fact that the tickets were done by long distance cameras, not planted onto the van itself.
