If my partner and his wife have been separted for 5 years, Does he need her to sign papers if they get divorced? She now lives in the USA and we dont know where

I think you can apply for a divorce if you can prove that you've either a) lived apart with consent for 2 years or b) lived apart for 5 years without consent. I guess that consent means a mutual agreement that both parties are aware off.
He can get divorced without her consent if they have been separated for 5 years. I think there is a procedure for doing this even if the ex cannot be located, but he needs advice from the County Court office or a solicitor on this.
The other half has to be notified and either sign the papers or have a court official serve the papers on them but it cannot be done without tracking them down I'm afraid
hello i need someone to take my feeling inconsideration iam useing a prepayment meter from 26/06/04 from i move in this flat their was a old man was living here he wasnt useing a prepayment meter you people are sending me his bill saying i owe you �333.21. you need to come and check this meter out you are treating me of county court proceeding.if i owe that money i will pay my bill but i know that i dont owe you anything.
so please can you sort this meter out iam depress of this thing.
