I wish to VT my car back to heywood finace, I have 46 month finance of 13.5k @�400.20 p/m, I have paid �10,405 over 26 months, they say my settlement figer for my car is �10,100. I cannot maintain payments due to seporation.


Can I do this with out penalties? and walk away?

you owe �8000 in payments over the remaining 20 months. so if you walk away and settle the debt, you would be �2000 more out of pocket...


could just ask them to take the car back and leave it at that. ask them to treat it as a lease. youve paid 10,4 plus they get the car back for re-sale.


also explain your situation, some people do still have the heart they were born with.. some !

hi chris,many years ago, i was in the same situation,i spoke to my lendor who was lloyds bowmaker,they came and took the car.................. although i owed a lot more (if i said a figure it would be a lie) the final payment i gave them was �650.00
