In cardiff near the national welsh tennis centre there is roundabout with a few geometric shapes (sphere, pyramid) made out of road signs on it. what are these for or why were they built, is there any info on the net about them because i have been looking for ages and cant seem to find anything.

The piece is called "Magic Roundabout' and it is from 1992 and by Pierre Vivant.
It is part of Cardiff's ongoing commitment to public art and the site was chosen because it is considered a 'gateway' site and highly visible to visitors and residents alike.
Dont know much about the artist but further googling may yield results.
Apparently some people use it as a bmx park
