morning, Tuesday already, the days are rapidly going by, i am somewhat earlier than normal as i can't get back to sleep. So i am not sure if anyone is awake at this hour, but if you are and can't sleep, keep me company perhaps...... i hope that your day is a good one and that you are all well as can be.

i have an online shop coming at 9am hopefully so there is that to sort out, and will wait in for a courier delivery. I have no other plans, are you doing anything today?

probably will be twiddling my thumbs all day, i am hoping i get word from the courier as one item is long awaited and i feel may be lost. I have some other goods ordered which is for Christmas, if that comes today it will be a minor miracle.

how are you, well i hope.....it's only 4.15am here and sleep seems to be eluding me, i have been to sleep but woke around 3 or so and can't get back.

Thumb twiddling is an art some people never learn.
I've practiced a the skill today.
Lack of motivation after the domestic chores were finished.

i hate hanging about especially for couriers, they are supposed to notify you of the day/time they will deliver, they rarely if ever do.
even when they give you a time, they often turn up early or late, so you have no way of going out...

what are you doing the rest of the afternoon/evening?

Enjoy chatting with you for half an hour or so.
Then prep an evening meal.

Maybe a tad more practice thumb twiddling.

what is on the menu - i have had my early breakfast of a couple of biscuits, that will have to do till later..

It's pretty difficult for a courier to maintain a timetable an office worker has set for them.
So many variables out on the road.

Hermes couriers set their own timetables, and deliver to specific areas, i did get to know one courier, who was pretty good at letting you know roughly what time they would deliver, now it's anyone's guess.

Beef with parmesan and tomato chipolatas, gently fried. Cauliflower bake with peas and buttery mash.

I'd hate to be a courier on English roads.
Apparently traffic spends more time standing still than moving.

you are right, the whole of London has massive roadworks, much of it is laying fibre optic cable for internet connection. They did ours recently and blocked off the entire street for three weeks, utter chaos.

i didn't learn that much from mum by way of cooking, she wasn't a great cook, not every woman is, and i followed suit.
