Life after lockdown: Alcohol could be BANNED from pubs in Apri - this was last night.
He’s now decided, since last night that he WILL now allow pubs to open in April and sell alcohol , but still wants a ban on indoor alcohol!! Why?? And now on earth is he going to implement this??
We can’t get our hair cut, can’t get our nails done, can’t go to a restaurant, cafe or pub, can’t go clothes shopping and he now wants to do this? Has he completely lose plot??

Am not sure what your point is by "We can’t get our hair cut, can’t get our nails done, can’t go to a restaurant, cafe or pub, can’t go clothes shopping and he now wants to do this"
Pubs are shut now so it's not as if things are going to be tightened.
I certainly thing when pubs reopen it'll be table service only
Of course he hasn't lost the plot, he never even started reading the story.

The man's a complete tool.
If it was this or keeping pubs closed which would you prefer. Its a risk opening them until majority have been vaccinnated which will be middle of year, so if they open there'll need to be restrictions such as outdoor tables only
Whether hes a tool or not am pretty sure that would be the strong advice of scientists advisers so would anyone take the risk, Am sure Nicola, Mark, Keir would all say the same, in fact they may not want them open at all.
//I certainly thing when pubs reopen it'll be table service only//

And I certainly hope so. I have been using table service whenever I can - in fact its availability often determines my choice of pub and Covid made it more widely available. Queuing at the bar is a pain. But to suggest pubs - which have been forcibly closed for much of the past ten months - should open but be unable to sell alcohol is an absolute joke. Many of them will not bother - but perhaps that's the idea.
//If it was this or keeping pubs closed which would you prefer.//

It would make no difference to me whatsoever. If they cannot sell alcohol I won't be visiting them. Yes opening them properly is a risk. But life's risky and we must start taking a few risks before we all go round the twist.
Has anyone read my link?
A dont really mind if Boris gets the blame but am pretty sure Nicola and Mark wont be laxer than him. In Wales we saw what happened when pubs served alcohol again- Cardiff was full of drunken crowds. But after a while the novelty might wear off and things may calm down. Anywat better safe than sorry until most are vaxed and infections are right down
can't get to it mamya - i have the unsfehkble
I read your link Lots of options are being considered
The Government denies the rumours.

I see, you just want a long thread about speculation.

Carry on Bobb.

Pubs without beer.
Restaurants without food.
Barbershops without scissors.
Vegetarian butchers.

No, not Reggie Perrin, Hancock’s half hour.
So it's not happening then.
Think you owe Boris an apology Smow.
