Arguing for masks for months, your very correct!! but way to late now, 50k plus deaths to late my friend. All because they wanted to brag that the NHS had managed, and had all the PPE they needed, by not making it available to others.

It's silly to argue that we should wear them and then say someone looks a tit wearing one. How do you think this thread makes you look? Should we wear them or not? Should we encourage people to wear them or mock their appearance when they do wear one?

Wearing a face mask should have been compulsory from the start for going to the supermarket. It should have also been stated a month ago that a condition of opening the smaller shops was that masks must be worn.
It makes little sense, 4 months too later and to be fining people £100. Just bonkers.

The hundred pound fines are to try and cover the two million they gave to Turkey for duff PPE, plus the 20 million to China for the duff tests, the police are going to be busy.

Up until lately social distancing was 2 metres in England. Since the one metre plus? was introduced the medical/ scientific advice is now face covering in confined spaces. Eg. Shops.
