I have grown a cutting, its doing really well, the stem is an inch in diamiter and its nice and bushy.How do I prune it, or do i not prune it.Its the first plant ive ever grown.Can anyone please help

We had one for some years, and never pruned it, never heard of it happening. if its in the ground, and has the room, from what you sat, its a happy plant, just leave it, and it will reward you with a beautiful stem of flowers.
a yukka is one main stem with a few leaves branching off it so it shouldn't need pruning.
