If you damaged their eardrums, could you be arrested and charged with assault or something else?

If only you could do it this way

I am sorry he out shopping

and they go away - I still dont believe my luck
Love it Milvus....off to practice miss marple voice ;)
If i do answer i say i need to put you on hold for a moment, put my stereo on a certain track usually black sabbath and put it on repeat put the phone next to it and leave it for at least two repeats this usually gets rid of them
In my experience the phone goes dead if you leave them waiting for more than 10 seconds
Surely it is not the whistle blower who is making the ear damaging noise but the phone that the caller is using. It must be up to the caller to make sure their phone cannot produce harmful sounds. Can I sue the broadcaster if my loud telly makes me deaf? Hmmm...I feel a scam coming on.
I have stopped using my whistle....and I have posted on the conversation I have with the cold caller about my mother's piles and corns...

I have moved on from that......

Now when I get a cold call I have an imaginary conversation with my brother about upping the dose of our mother's pills to a lethal dose and not being found out.... my daughter reckons I will be arrested soon....☺
What would be useful is a tape of background noises from a call centre, or for gness a church service with a very boring sermon.
Oh, Jom.....I could list so many boring services....but I will admit to livening up the last one I attended...me and the lesbian...was a hoot....
What is your avatar picture?....x

Perhaps the Ed. will give you a curiosity badge :o)
I asked because MrG loved the clarinet and at his funeral one of the grandkids played it for him....'tis a beautiful instrument...do you play?
Hi Gness, it is a section of a bass clarinet, you are the first person to ask in over 4 years..
i already knew
I was wondering why you hadn't asked....
Gness, yes I do but only in an amateur way and in private :o)
A woman in Germany was recently fined £600 for ABH as it damaged the call-centre person's hearing.
