There are several for sale on e-bay but I don't know how successful they are.

The advice you already have is good. Find out what your resort's policy is for handing back your ownership in the event that you can't sell it. Some resorts try to maintain a prison-like relationship with their owners but I am under the impression that this is not sustainable in law, apart from being bad/unclever business.
