Show-off time. Do you like the clock that I made out of an old dinner plate?

Yes, I do stewey. I like the plate. Is it English china?
Very nice.

How do you make the hole without the obvious disastrous consequence?
Lol yes, surprisingly I do!

I opened your link, expecting summet hideous, and then I was gonna tactfully slink away without saying anything so I didn't offend- but I like it, it's quite sweet.

You clever thing you!
Actually, I think it may look better with gold hands and numbers. Then it would pick up the colour scheme of the plate.
I still like it, though.

Tilly2, it's not antique or even vintage. It's marked "China" on the back; just something I picked up for $1 at a charity store.
Question Author
Chris, I had to buy a diamond drill bit, and it cut through the plate like butter.
That is very good.
if it doesn't have a country of origin as in Made IN..... it is before 1910, or in this country it would be lol

love it btw, very good
Very good stewey, I like the farm theme however why no goats !.
Very good stewey.
It would look lovely in my kitchen.
Goats are not in the song, Yont.

So maybe it's older than I thought, Dot. Anyway, people, I'm still waiting for your orders to come pouring in:)
Question Author
Tony, the goats are residing in a luxurious structure tucked in behind the farmhouse.

Goats are not in the song, Yont.

They are in my version, Yilly !.
Right, thanks stewey, just so long as I know they are there.
I've been looking at those drill bits for making tiered cake stands stewey, they obviously work ok then?
I'll have one but I want gold hands and numbers, please.
it would be a nice piece for a child's bedroom too

he must've gone for wobbly pops
Question Author
Humbersloop, they are not cheap; mine cost $20. They're like a miniature hole-saw, and you should practice your technique on some junk plates first.
Brilliant stewey. i really like it and prefer the black , and not the gold colour, as it stands out well. well done.
