Have you ever been part of or even banned from a pub under pub watch scheme.
me and my wife were asked to leave a pub after a very drunk man wouldn't leave us alone.
Tryed to explain to the landlord that I only raised my voice because being polite didn't work but we were still asked to leave.once out side tried once again to explain but no good.
As walked away my wife seemed to think the landlord said we were barred.
I wasn't worried by that as I would never go there again but a friend told me if the pub was under the pub watch scheme I could be barred from all pubs in the area.
I was told to go back and speak to him but to be fair if he never listened to me the first time. Pub is what I think of is a very locals pub and I'm not local.
So if I'm banned how could i find out and what could i do about it ..

I'm no longer pub/clubwatched...I was put on it indefinitely .
It was only when other members of the scheme threatened to withdraw from using it that the club that barred me took me off it.
I am still barred from said club.

It cost the club 10,000 pounds to pursue their case against me for making the accusations ....they lost ;0)

It's the police that put people on pubwatch so don't worry about it.
It's no, ummmm
it's probably an exclusion notice scheme withdrawing your right to enter licensed premises if it has been applied for, but to apply for it the lanlord has to privide your name and address to apply for the exclusion to either the licensing authority or the police, if they don't have that info it is an idle threat.
What's no?
courts and the police,

not landlords
Landlords are just given a photographic list of who's on it.
It is the landlord or committee that puts people on pub/clubwatch.

I can't see how you have a problem though. BigRooster.
like i said, if they don;t know your name and address it was just a landlord doing a phil mitchell impersonation and acting the hardman for his regulars
It's not Mick. Posters are sent out to landlords from the police. It's people who have been arrested and/or charged for anti social behaviour. I was looking at one of the posters last week to see how many people I knew on it.
landlord and committee......sounds very democratic and open to no abuse.
I was put on pubwatch for sending information to the charities commission about a clubs failure to meet their charity status.
No police, no courts.
the landlord has to apply to the licensing authority........sorry i've said that already
that's not an offence though mick, they were just being spiteful
All a landlord or committee can do is bar someone. Pubwatch means they are barred from ALL pubs within a certain area. Under their photo is an expiry date when the punwatch ban is lifted. ALL pubs/clubs in that area will have their picture.
and if you were barred from any public house you would have been given a copy of the exclusion notice which is issued by the police
Well I'm not going to argue but having been there I know different.
whay does your exclusion not say mick? does it tell you the reason and the date the barr is lifted?
this is what Wilkipedia says which suggest that it, management, is more at the local level, that is not to say that the police and courts can't feed into them:

does this help? http://www.nationalpubwatch.org.uk/faqs1.php

I used to run an off-licence and joined a similar scheme, meeting once a month with other retailers (not really out of choice, the police harass you enough until you do). Can't remember too much about how and why you end up on such bans, I spent most of the meetings readjusting the matchsticks for my eyes!
