Birth times on birth certificate in Malta
Do all Maltese birth certificates have the time of birth on them normally, or is it just put on because of multiple births? I have recently heard in UK only the time of birth is added to the birth certificate when there is more than one baby born. I have a Maltese birth certificate with the date and time on it.

says....
"Is the time of birth included on the certificate?
The time of birth is not usually recorded. The exceptions to this are for twin births, and some Scottish registrations. Please note that where the time is not recorded, we are unable to provide this. The only place this may be recorded would be on medical records to which we do not have access."

jinie- I've had a trawl of the internet and can't find any info :o(
Manjo - yes you do - you get two versions, a short one and a full one. In days past, you only got the short one of there was no named father - when they introduced that as standard somewhere between my elder brother and me, my mum paid for the full one for me as she didn't want me to be different from the rest of my brothers and sisters. I paid for the full ones for my kids too at her insistence........I think she saw the short ones as having a stigma attached!!
