Not at all, Mike. Where I live the village is pretty much Welsh but having married into the community, I am accepted quite well, although being a boring barsteward i do keep myself to myself. Workwise, in Bangor it is very anglicised with the amount of students at the Uni. However, go to Caernarfon and down the Lleyn Peninsula to Pwllheli and across to Blaenau Ffestiniog and it is very Welsh indeed. This is where the natives revolt!!

Morning all, tell me Welshie why when I got to Wales and its a bit remote will go into a shop and they will be speakng English I can hear them but the minute the spot an"alien" they all start speaking in Welsh ? hasnt happened once either, and other peple tell me its happened them too.If I ask a Welshman or woman they just laugh at me.
