hi, a few months ago, i was involved in a fight (about 15vs 15), however , in my group, i don't know at least half of them.
the fight happened outside a night club, i was going to have a cigarette with one of my friend. when we stepped outside, the group were standing outside and waiting for us, they got a knife and some things on their hands(which got some steel thingy gloves) then we stepped forward to see what is happening, then two groups were arguing, then someone kicked off, and i saw my friend was hitted by one of them, then i run forward trying to push him away, but i failed to push him away, i was trying to run past him, coz i know there was a big fight just right behind me, however i cant run past him, and then i got hitted by him on my eye, a lot of blood on my face and i couldn't see things clearly.then i stepped backward and suddenly someone infront of me , then i kicked him to prevent him to attack me coz i hardly see things clearly. after that i left the scene.

and few days later, i have gone abroad for few months coz i have bought the flight ticket. and i almost go there every year at that time. i wasnt trying to escape.

Please...can anyone tell me what would i be charged if i go to police station now?

I'll be last....always the best in my opinion as she wont be in a rush to stop.

Thanks Barmaid x
Good luck to you if you are genuine and take Eddie's advice.

i really want help here, i dont understand why u guys think im not genuine?

To dotty: yeah...they were wearing knuckledusters ......
I have been quite complementary.
Well said barmaid.

If everyone thinks it's a wind up then don't post on the thread. if it is a troll and the only answers they get are serious ones from the respected people in the law section I doubt they'd feel they've achieved anything.
1. Why would you need to go to a Police Station ?
2. Were you threatened with the likelihood of charges before you went away ?
Chuck does that mean that i am not respected in the Law section? : (
Question Author
i still havent gone to the police station yet. so i dont know what the offence code is....
guys, please... i just want to hear some advice or if u guys have any experience about this case...

And...i never have any kind of criminal record before...im really worried.
Please help...
No more or less than in any other section, Dot.
Why are you considering handing yourself over ?

Surely you'll have had some feedback as to whether you are being sought over the incident ?

to jackthehat : Thanks for your reply!
coz when i came back, my friends who involve in this case told me that the police want to see me.
i wasnt trying to get away, that night was my farewell party, everyone knows im going abroad in few days.
are you abroard now, have you been and come back, or have you not left yet?
I would suggest that you go and see them, then.

I'm not sure whether taking your passport/ticket stubs to prove that you then left the country is the best thing to do at this stage...........

What has happened to any of the others involved in this fracas ?
This might be stating the obvious, but you don't go to the police, they come to you. If they don't, result!
Question Author
i have come back 2 months ago, coz i changed my mobile no. so my friends were unable to contact me.

they were bailed but need to go to the police station to report every week. the case is still pending.
the people in our group were hurt by knife, and we got no weapons at that time.
that sounds a bit of a lame excuse about changing your mobile number.
Question Author
i changed the mobile no. just a few days before that night, and my old number 's contract was ended at the end of that month, i did this long time before that night.
Repeat. If the police want you they will find you. No point in going looking for trouble where none may exist.
This happened a few months ago; then you went abroad for a few months and you have been back in UK for 2 months ?

Why are you worrying, now.............?
Question Author
because the case is still not settled yet, and my friend told me that the police ask them where i am every week.
and my friend said there were some photos of me in the police station.
and last week, another friend who was involved in this fight, was arrested by the police at his home.
im worried that the same will happen to me.....
