My ex-husband attacked my father a couple of weeks ago with a baton of some description.

This was totally premeditated because he got him to the place it happened on false pretences just to attack him.

My father was in hospital for 3 days and had to have an operation on his eye socket and damaged cheekbone.

He went to Magistrates court and they referred it straight to crown court but this is weeks away and they have released him on bail.

This has left me and my family very scared and feeling vunerable.

Can anybody give me some advice has to what will happen in court?

Many Thanks
