We used to have a big old telly back in the good old days. The picture used to roll until you gave it a good thump on the top - that solved the problem (for a short while, anyhoo).
A receipt is only compulsory if you ask for one - and even then it doesn't have to be a till receipt. Scribbled on the back of a fag packet would meet the law if it had the right details.
i still don't really understand what the dissasitisfied steak bake person wanted greggs to do about his steakless bake. They would have probably either given him another one or his money back if he had gone back. They are hardly going to come 9 miles to give him another one, and i don't really see what else they could have done over the phone
