As you know from all my previous posts ( I know theres been a lot) but your advice and help has kept me sane whilst going through all this. The hearing is to take place on Wed next week. I know all through this that the applicant never antd it to go to a hearing and was hoping that eventually I would get fed up and 'give in'.
His solicitor has now asked if we can settle out of court. As far as Im concerned there is nothing to settle, he had his monies on completion of the transfer 3 years ago. But being the greedy person he is he wants more and more than anything wanted me to put my life on hold. Just to get rid of him once and for all I offered x less my solicitor costs - which are not cheap. He has now rejected this saying he wants a higher offer. I am now going to inform my sol this morning that there are no more offers he either takes this once or I will see him in court. I know for a fact he does not want court, his solicitor has not prepared any trial bundles or anything, and I no he cannot afford to pay him to represent on the hearing day. Maybe Im cuttig my nose off, but he has caused me immense stress and upset for the past three years. Any advice appreciated and once again thanks for all your previous help and advice, your a great bunch.
