as im on a low income and im not entitled to any money for my 17 year old as she dropped out of college, would i get anything if i gave up work too

why would you want to do that? youd be intentinally making yourself unemployed and i dont think they pay benefits in that circumstance.

cant you tell your daughter to get a job and contribute to the bills
redcrx is right - you would not get benefits as she is not a child in education. She should get a job.
its unlikely you would get anything being that you made yourself intentionally jobless. even if you did, it would give you a much poorer quality of life.
Benefits arent there for people who decide it would just be nice not to work, after all, we would all be doing it if that were the case!
