Laptop pound sign key

Hi

When I press shift and `3` button for the pound sign it comes out as a hash. Does anyone know how I can get this key back? The other keys are fine.

Have you tried pressing the hash key ? If it's American they have probably swapped them round. Or just try pressing every key and hope you find it eventually !

Try pressing the left hand Alt and Shift keys together.

Much quicker than going through the control panel.
