What is the scenario?

CCTV isn't that unusual in office complexes for overall security purposes.

Cameras in the loo isn't acceptable though.

Why are you worried and what do you have to hide?

There are cameras everywhere these days for security. If something of yours got stolen at work you would probably welcome the fact that there was a chance of finding who dun it. It is a bit emotive to say employer is spying.

We can't help or advise, if that's what you want, unless you give a lot more info. If someone broke into your car you'd be glad they took a pic wouldn't you?

Oh I posted a photo of the chairman's car at work with a wheel clamp on it - clamped by his own employees, but he wasnt there

yes it is definitely lawful to take a photo in a street without asking all the people on the street whether they wish to be immortalised

yes, it's absolutely legal (as beuenchico always tells us) to take a picture of anything (with certain exceptions for example MOD property)
