walking for pleasure

no question, but i just thought i'd let everyone know i went out for my second walk in 2 days that was just for pleasure today. It's so great - i haven't done any walking (except either to my car or from the car to house) for about 4 years

The only time I walk for pleasure if by the sea. I just can't get in the mental space of walking for pleasure and not going any where, I have to have a destination otherwise it seems utterly pointless and a chore to me. I wish I could walk for pleasure though so am quite envious.

As someone who finds walking difficult and tiring now, despite once walking an average of 7 miles each day at one time because of work, I'd just like to say if you can do it, then do it. When you can't it is badly missed.
