Hi all,
Im currently in the final year of my ACCA studies and plan to start studying the CFA soon after. The only problem I have is a minor conviction on my record which regrettably is recorded as a minor case of fraud (a copied travel ticket). I did some community service as a result but otherwise have nothing on my record.

Having read through the application I am asked about convictions that I have spent over and under a year in prison for during the past 5 years. The way I see it, is that I have never spent anytime in prison so my answer is no to both, however I dont think thats what they mean and Im sure they would wnat to know about any conviction I may have.

My question is, would anyone happen to know just how thorough the checks are and should I own up to my past conviction is this likely to affect the sucess of my application?
