You are probably going bonkers!!.....lol.
defo bonkers ;-)
Maybe the 'thicker' soups keep their warmth longer , the surface of the soup being exposed to the air it cools quickly and more effectively leaving a much warmer soup lower down the cup at the bottom. If you were to drink the soup quickly you would notice this difference but if you were to drink and leave the soup for a little before drinking more again the surface would cool on exposure to the air and it will therefore be the same temperature everytime you come back to the soup. Unless of course you forget all about it and it goes cold which I have a real skill for!
Very good answer....what...the?

Give that girl some stars, I'm impressed. :-)

lol thanks I am waiting for someone with big glasses, a long white coat and a clip board to come along now and say I haven't got a clue!
If that was the caee then pensioners would get a case of cuppa soup instead of 400 quid or so heating allowance4 , that they spend here on booze the old coffin dodgers
