A robot.
An electrical engineer
I think you have to have a qualification of some sort to be labelled an electritian. If working on a line in a factory, then I would say an electronic line worker or something! Sorry only a guess though!
Someone who sticks components on boards is NOT an engineer. Ask the girls on piece work in many factories in the uk.
By the way its electrician. Engineers design stuff, generally have engineering degrees etc. Technicians generally fix stuff. Hence the many arguments about heating engineers, plumbres, chimney sweeps etc
look at me 'plumbres', sorry plumbers. :)
Unless you happen to be an electical engineer, eh, PB ?

Perhaps so, but if this were so then you would agree that assembling components to a plan is not engineering, it is assembly. I maintain that there is a vast difference between the job of electrical engineer and electrician. I demean neither as both are necessary to make the world work. I personally beleive that people should get what they expect and mislabelling does not help those less well informed than your good self. In any case I would challenge any domestic electrician to demonstrate Fleming, resolve the phasors for a squirrel cage induction motor etc... :)
Absolutely. But there again perhaps that was what the questioner required ?

Although I have a sneaking suspicion that we're talking cross/quizword clue, in any case :o) {perhaps the rather eccentric spelling meant it didn't fit ?} lol

touche jacque! Personally I found electrical theory only slightly less dull than electronic theory. Perhaps thats another thread.
