returning back to work after 3 years

my dad had to leave his job after a heart attack/enlarged heart 3 yrs ago the doctors have said he can return to light work and he has an interview in september he is worried if he tells them about this they will employ someone who has always been in full health? but what should he say. TIA

Hopefully he's going for a suitable job? If that's the case then it shouldn't matter. Doesn't have to bring it up unless he's actually asked but quite a few companies ask about medical history these days. I'd always say be honest, it wont do any good if he lies and gets found out later.
Twenty20 is correct. Insurance forms will ask and if not answered truthfully it could negate any future claims and be reason for the termination of employment.
