Improving level of education

I left school at 16 with a handful of CSE's & O'Levels - not particularly good grades. I have been working for 30 years and have studied since - more vocational courses. However, how do I improve my level of education? There are so many things I do not know about such as general history, geography, etc.
Any ideas?

Have a look at further education for mature students as you'll be suprised what is on offer (evenings if necessary) I graduated as a mature student with a BSC in 2003 at the age of 50. I'll admit it was a full time course and as I was disabled I was able to do the degree but there is so much on offer if you have a look online,
By the way Good Luck
