Any idea what a surveyor earns and how it compares to an architect ?

Surveyor:
Starting salaries for newly qualified staff are between �20,000 and �23,000.
Experienced surveyors earn between �24,000 and �36,000.
Senior staff with chartered status can earn around �40,000.

Architect:
Candidates studying RIBA exams can earn up to �20,000 a year.
The average salary for a qualified architect with experience can be around �37,800.
Senior architects, or chief architects in the public sector can earn up to �55,500 a year
