ILEX courses.

Has anyone studied on the ILEX course? Did it lead to a job afterwards? Any other information/advice would be welcomed too. Thanks

I hald completed the ILEX course and then switched to a law degree. ILEX is more geared up for anyone already working in a legel profession. I believe it's not that easy to get a position even after completeing ILEX. I suppose it depends in which area of the law you want to get into. Having completed my law degree I found that the most opportunities are within the Employment and Insolvency sector. It isn't easy getting a position within law, but if I was to give you any advice then get on as many placements as you can. The CPS also run placements but you have to apply 12 months in advance. Also, volunteer with the Citizens Advice Bureau it's great for your c.v. and opens up loads of doors.
