What sort of qualification is one year of University in Scotland?

Say I do a year at one University in Scotland, what sort of qualification do I get for this?

it is doubtful you'd get anything. most universities don't offer intermediate qualifications, so if you sign up for a 3 degree, and only complete one year, then you're not really eligible for anything as you haven't completed the course.

Some uni's offer a diploma, but this is usually for specific courses.

It may be possible for you to transfer your credits to another university instead.
Which course? Which university? Unless it's a one year course you will get nowt.
A year might seem like a long time, Kenzo, but in
the world of Higher Education it is nothing at all. Zilch;
and that is what you'll get for your one year.
