I have recently been put on a new tariff which, on the face of it, seems good value. I had one or two questions about this new tariff which were not addressed on the O2 website and were not adequately answered by the Sales person on the phone so, within the 14 day "cooling off period", I emailed O2 Customer Service. I did not receive an answer so I wrote to their "Correspondence Address" in Houghton Regis. Again, no answer despite their website claim that they would answer all queries within 5 working days. The cooling off period has now expired and I am left wondering if by default I have agreed to something that I probably should not have agreed to.
I have again emailed O2 asking for a formal written reply to my queries and I have had an email reply saying, "I'd request you to please call us on 0800 230 0202 so that we can check it over the call". I have replied once again asking for their formal, written comments but to date I have not had a reply.
Would it do any good if I were to contact Ofcom urging them to bang heads together?

Hi MichaelZZ, I think you may get a better response to this in the Law section.
Copy and repost it there.
Good luck.
Why not try to get out of the impasse by ringing them and saying you want the answer in writing.
Ofcom are useless.

Although my bumping it may attract a reply or two ;0)
