Thanks for your answer Methyl but I think I have gone and lost Acrobat.com now as I uninstalled it went back to a saved pfd document and it has not come up with an instant download so I guess I have done it all wrong. Does this mean then that I will not be able to receive anymore pdf docments, I still have Adobe. My computer is, by the way, a toshiba laptop with Windows 7. Thanks for trying to help me anyway.

OR even better get rid of the bloated adobe reader all together and install a better, faster PDF reader.

(make sure you untick the install ASK toolbar during the install)
^^ Agreed 100%.

Thanks Methyl, Chuckfickens and Markrae, I will come back to it tomorrow when brain in a better condition and decide whether I am brave enough to go to Foxfire or stay with Adobe. Thanks for all the help. Will be back tomorrow.
> go to Foxfire or stay with Adobe

Foxit, you mean. The Foxit reader is superior to the Adobe reader in every possible way.
Question Author
I think I will install Foxit Reader like you say but first I must ask you if it replaces all that Adobe does and therefore I can safely uninstall Adobe first before downloading Foxit. I want to make sure that I am not doing anything wrong this time. Thanks for your help.
