Yes. He has become tainted.

His vague explanation of property deals would never stand up if he were a member of the public.
Yes.
yes
Yes.
I thought all MPs had to register any income from outside interests in a commons register. If he has failed to do that it looks very suspicious.
why, because the police have leaked allegations to the Telegraph? I'd quite like to hear his side of the story first.
Should you not wait for charges to be laid, a court case and a judgement by a jury before he has to stand down.

It wouldn't be he first time a newspaper has condemned someone when they were innocent.
They keep having a go at Keith Vaz every few years. I thought many years ago that here was a man who knows where a lot of the bodies are buried. ( I write using a well worn euphemistic phrase ) H e does seem to have a teflon suit and umbrella. I think that T.B. Esq uses the same tailor.
If his income was gained through legitimate means, then I wish him all the best, and we should all, of course, wait for the results of any investigation that may be conducted.

However I've always felt there is, and always has been, something a bit, well, iffy, about Keith Vaz.

He may be completely innocent, and the Daily Telegraph may just be muck-spreading, but I'd be surprised if the £500,000 is entirely 'legitimate'.
Yes and I agree with flip-flop
they have been waiting to get something definite on this man for such a long time, he has been known as teflon as nothing sticks, perhaps now it will, step down, i should say so, will he, unlikely.
Yes em, will he jump or wait for the push ?
If he has misbehaved he should go. Must say I never liked or trusted him.
he has proved to be somewhat two faced in the past, and perhaps one of these charges will actually stick, who knows.
I am sick and tired hearing about allegedly crooked MPs in high positions. How laughlingly ironic that Mr Vaz chairs a committee which holds the Police to account, yet here he is the subject of an apparent scandal being investigated by the Met.
i also believe there have been racial allegations about him, and his affiliations to certain groups, organisations not befitting a minister.

'Ironic' is not the word I would use. Highly suspicious is more like it.
