Talk to your GP about having them removed by lazer.  Never had this done myself, so can't recommend it, it's just a suggestion.
tetherend is correct about laser it is the only permanant way of getting rid of these, my mum has them they are just broken capillaries that should look red if they are spider veins. Unfortunately no amount of facials or speacial creams will rid of these although some you find reduce the apperance of them they are usually found within more expensive cosmetic ranges. I dont know if you have seen those greeny coloured concealers about that usually come in the same packet as the skin coloured ones, look minty green, well if you uuse a tiny amount of this over the affected area under your foundation making sure you blend it well it takes alot of the redness down as it is the opposite colour to red it tones the redness down, this is obviously a temporary measure to conceal them a bit but anything else will cost you a fair bit for a few treatments, best to have a look on the net through google or something or speak to your GP.

I agree with all the other posters. There are no quick fixes with regards to creams.

There is a link between Vitamin K and blood vessel strength. Ask you doctor about any medicated cream that may have a high Vit K content. It helps with bruising and things like that.

Other treatments include laser therapy, sclerotherapy and a few more. Laser treatment via IPL is supposed to be good because it is not as harsh as other laser treatment.

If you type red vein treatment into google you will get a lot of good results to help you out.

Oh yeah I forgot to add.

You get red veins if you expose your face to extremes in temperature. So dont wash in either very hot or very cold water etc. Just keep an eye on the temperature and environment that you are in.

Hi chelsea25, I had lazer to remove a spider nevei from my face, it was about 2 yrs ago and I was recommended a Harley St. practice by my local NHS hospital, who intially had a look at it. Not cheap but worth it (around 400 quid for a one off session) The treatment itself is painless, you get a small bruise, which develops soon after the treatment, then that's it. Maybe it can be done on the NHS, worth looking into. good luck!
