Hi

How do you go about attending an interview for another job, when you are already employed on a full time basis with someone else? Fortunatly up until now Ive always been part time and interviews have landed on a day off. I am hoping to get onto a training programme with my ideal employer, however, Ive always been told you never tell your boss your going for an interview with someome else but how do you get around it as i dont want to miss out on this oppertunity!?

take a days holiday
Dentist appointment
Or arrange it at lunchtime.
Just ask for a day's leave for the relevant day?

is it a spelling course you're hoping to go on? :)
Unless you are being made redundant, you can't have time off for an interview - you'll have to book some annual leave. That's honest and not pretending that you are going somewhere else.
take leave, flexi, med/dent as samak says. They're not going to give you time off to go to an interview elsewhere are they.
