I have nvq 2 in Admin which is 8 years old and nvq 2 in Retail which is 6 years old, i have been at home for the last 6 years bringing my kids up, with a bit of voluntary work inbetween. I am now looking to getting back to work full time and am wondering wether any new employer would take these nvq's into consideration, as i would love to get into a job which i can be trained further. If anyone could help that'd be lovely

It doesn't matter how old your qualifications are, they are still taken into consideration. My O levels are 20 years old but they are still counted!

I have done NVQ 2 in Business Admin and it definately helped me get a job last year.
