I joined a Facebook group for cleaning ladies..I expected to get tips and ideas to make cleaning easier or recommendations for new products.

There is a few posts relating to those type of things but I'm appalled to see photos taken in the clients home showing untidy rooms and things not put away.. one post had in excess of 20 photos taken in a clients home, posted on social media!

Makes you think twice employing someone who would do that.

That's very bad practice isn't it?
The sites admin should have removed it and told the person who put it there, it wouldn’t be tolerated

The person who posted the 20 plus set the site up so must be admin!
She didn't see anything wrong as no one knew her or her client..

Very bad practice indeed
i always do a quick hoover and tidy up before the cleaner arrives

is it a secret group? Even so she needs to be careful. I have got a very small group of FB friends but its amazing how many of them turn out to have similar interests to me as well as the common interest which was the reason we met. It only takes a friend of a friend of a friend to join the group for her to be in deep do do

Yes I think it's a members only but nothing to stop people requesting to join.

I've seen even more photos posted this afternoon.
I have a lovely cleaner..she does my floors and inside windows. I like to do above floor level myself while I can.

members only doesn't necessarily mean secret
Perhaps you should join a different Facebook group?
I suppose the clients they feel they can leave the place in a mess as they’re paying someone to clean up.

I’d be upset if my cleaning lady posted pics online, but I do tidy up a bit before she comes round.
I tidy up before my cleaning lady arrives
Hopefully the admin is totally competent with the technology, as it's quite easy to let slip a location through social media.
Why on earth would anyone clean up before the cleaner came?
Am I missing something? Surely that is the point of having a cleaner?
yeah I always take the dog for a quick walk before the dog walker arrives and quickly change the oil before I take my car for a service

Am I Right ?
I'm Not Wrong !
Johnny,I think it is a woman thing!
It's tidying up, not cleaning.

One top tip for having a clean house is to keep it tidy. That way cleaning is not such a chore.
I suggest that anyone who Hoover's before the cleaner comes needs their head looking at!
Not really Mexican, I always make sure inside of windows are spotlessly clean before window cleaner arrives.
I agree with Mex, The day my cleaner comes I don't lift a finger. That's why I pay her twice the minimum wage rate.
Assuming your house is generally tidy, Jack?
Tydying up is part of her tasks. Why keep a dog and bark yourself?
