Just had a new boiler installed. During the power flush the engineers discovered a blockage in the copper coil in the HW cylinder which they were unable to clear. I dont dispute this but we have never noticed a problem with HW supply. The solution is to have a new cylinder installed. The installers are not rip off merchants but I just wondered if anyone has had this or any heating experts out there who can suggest a solution which will avoid having a new cylinder installed.

Thanks

Pretty much agree with Doc.
The major air conditioner repairs carried out are due to the air conditioner not being able to turn on, or the cooling capacity has been reduced, the air flow is lost or it can also be due to the internal components of the air conditioner. The usual air conditioner components that need to be replaced are the faulty air compressor or condenser, defective air handling unit, defects in the duct system and the air leaks.

For information , guys, the men changed the cylinder for £380. not expensive when you consider the discount price of the cylinder is £280 on the net. the 25mm outlet pipe of the old cylinder was blocked with a ring of black stuff which had set hard and reduced the outlet to 10mm. With respect and with no offence intended you should not answer questions you know nothing about.
