Can i get a job as a PCSO if i have a criminal record?

I have a criminal record which i got a few years ago nothing major (well nothing violent or anything).

Can i get a job as a police community support officer as they are civilians and not Police officers as such?

Anyone know a pcso ? any advice is welcome
