Bus Driving

hello there. I want to become a bus driver with Arriva, but I have only had my car driving licence for 3 months, so obviously I will need some driving experience first. Does anyone know what other jobs you can do at bus depots? Thanks everyone!

ive worked for arriva in manchester and you should apply coz it takes 1 or two weeks to train you up for your test.then you have a further 1 or two weeks route training so i say apply for the job coz they always need drivers

I wouldnt worry, most bus drivers wouldnt know what a licence is.

Thanks for the reply rob81, but in the Application form, it specifically says that you need to have held your driving licence for at least 12 months. Well, i've held my licence for 6 months now, so only 6 months to wait. Besides, I haven't got a job or car yet, so I will need some driving experience first. What is it like to drive the double deckers?
