i have a paypal account and had paid for something on the 21st of ebay.
treid to pay for something today and its says the payment cannot becompleated on this bankcard please choose another funding source any help thanks

If I have translated correctly. It means the card attached to your paypal account has expired, been withdrawn or reached it's limit. You need to log on to Paypal and enter another card.

Is it a debit card rather than a credit card?

Reason I ask is that I tried to use my debit card recently and got same message. When I checked my bank it was because I didn't have enough money to cover to payment (stupid electricity company had taken my direct debit twice!!).

there is cash in the account to cover funds and is with in expriy

If you link your paypal account to your bank account then paypal will take funds from your bank if your credit card does not work for any reason.
