are you saying the tax disc belongs in another car?
I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you saying that you have a current tax disc on the car you bought? - if the tax disc is current, then does it matter who bought it? If the date on your tax disc says it ran out before today, then you have no road tax and you should have bought a new one.
And if it does belong in another car you are looking at a criminal fraud charge for displaying an incorrect tax disc.
I don't understand the question either, I'm afraid.
Why was it clamped? Was it because the tax disc wasn't valid?
Chuck, nice outfit!
It's Friday Sara, Chuck'll get the stag's head and the weekend codpiece on again soon!
excellent, can't wait!
I tell ya, lunging in a mankini is very liberating :)
Are you saying that the car was taxed, parked in a clamped Zone unauthorised? then clamped? It's up you you to prove that the car belonged to the previous owner at the time of the clamping.
I may be wrong but it sounds like the previous owner has bought a tax disc with a rubber cheque in which case the disc will have been cancelled. If that is the case contact the authorites and explain that you have just bought the car ( with proof of date of sale) and hopefully it will be resolved.

If however it is a stolen tax disc from another car then you should have noticed and you should pass all details to the police for them to follow it up.
Bloody hell Sara, that's what you look like! hows the Smart car with the Smart women driving it, gear stick! do you remember? LOL
whaaaaaaaaaaat???!! I don't have a Smart car...

Bloody hell, wrong Sara, I cant help it, it's my age LOL, Siiiiiiiiisssssssss Bob. lol
another one bites the dust.......
I like that????
if the tax disc was bought after the clamp due to no tax disc its still needs the fine paying by who ever had the car.if you bought it and the tax was on the car and in date then they clamp it was it parked on a no parking one unless permitted ?? i would just ring dvla and ask them.
