Has the insurance company paid for the repairs to your car?
Question Author
i had to pay the first 450 the cost of the damage came to 1500 but my insurance is due to be renewed soon and im down 2 years no claims which means my insurance will go up
The other party's insurers have had more than enough time to make their enquiries, and your insurer is being too soft! Ask them to issue county court proceedings against the other party, but make sure that they include your uninsured losses. If they won't, instruct a solicitor to issue for your uninsured losses - there are plenty no win no fee firms around.
