I had an accident at work, were the chair I was sitting on broke in half, throwing my on the floor and injuring my lower back. I have been signed off work and I'm having to take a selection of pain killers to ease the pain in my back and I'm having to go and have some physiotherepy to correct the problem.
I work for a local authority and I was just wondering if i had a case for a compensation claim as taking time off work for illness affects my performance related pay raise and obviousley i have to pay for the medication.
