Is the timing belt the same thing as the fanbelt or cambelt?!

same as cambelt, different to fanbelt.
timing belt is the same as the cambelt (it's also a chain in some cars)

Fanbelt is quite different and far cheaper to replace!)
Fan belt is nowadays called an auxillary drive belt - provides power for likes of water pump and power steering on some cars.
As Woody says, very few cars have a fanbelt as the fan is driven by electricity.
