I am 18 years old and was caught driving without insurance unknowingly on 1st December 2006, i have only recently received the court summons today 15-6-07. When i was pulled over i was under the idea i was insured, as my dad had rang up and sorted it all out which he is adamant he did, so it may be a fault within the insurance company. We made dozens of attempts to get into contact with the officer shortly after however he did not return calls. What am i looking at in terms of punishment as my father is taking full responsibility, i was driving a motorbike at the time and have recently gained my full license, will i have anything on my criminal record as i'm an A level student and really couldn't manage with one or without a vehicle. Another thing i have noticed is that on the letter it explains that there are two officer witnesses, however there was only one in the car that pulled me over. Cheers
