Was thinking the same, Jeza...til you posted. My niggle is nothing to what you are dealing with.
I was lucky with MrG....he was a good patient but that was hard enough.

I know you won't get hammered.....too much responsibility to do that but have a good one.....just to relax you....

jeza he is going to have good & bad days and you are going to get the brunt of it, so sorry for you, but least you still have whats left of him, I would change with you because I have nothing now but memories and everyone says how well I am coping but deep down I am not. Have a couple of drinks that's how I cope, nothing OTT and maybe tomorrow all will be well again, it isn't easy and we all feel for you but your doing a grand job and deep down in his good moments he knows this and he loves you.

Sorry for the delay, as I submitted the carers arrived so I took the opportunity to shower and get ready for bed.

The horrible carer was dealt with by her manager. The manager knew all about it before I rang so either she or her oppo reported it. I was assured she would not attend to Mic again. I didn't ask nor was I told how she was dealt with.

As for Mic today, dinner on the floor, hair pulled, nearly punched. He has complained about every thing.
This is not the old Mic. Please can I have him back.

Thanks for the reply Jeza. The old Mic is still in there and he is probably fighting to get out to you just as much as you want him. Its heartbreaking for you but you are there because you love him and thats all you can do x

For what it's worth, i think she's right. Illness has changed some of his behaviour. That is why he gets frustrated, because he knows it isn't really him. He's still there, you just find other ways of reaching him x
